How to Reset Service Light BMW E46 3 Series model year from 1998 to 2005
- Switch ignition off
- Press and hold the button between the fuel gauge and the speedometer
- Turn key to position "I"
- After 5 seconds, the words "Oil Service" or "Inspection" are shown together with the message "Reset" or "Re".
- Release the button. Press it again for antoher 5 seconds until the message "Reset" starts to flash
- Release the button and press it again
- The new service interval is now displayed
- Press the button again and the message "End Sia" is displayed.
- Switch ignition off
- Press and hold the button between the fuel gauge and the speedometer
